Scott Russ

While attending MCSE classes at New Horizons Computer Learning Center in 1998, Scott would occasionally walk to the front of the classroom, grab a dry-erase marker, and explain a concept to a fellow student who wasn’t connecting the dots. New Horizons was so impressed by a student who could teach they offered Scott a job.

Scott taught MCSE curriculum as well as MS Office and other basic computer courses for 2 years before he began his own career in Information Technology.

In addition to teaching courses at New Horizons, Scott has designed and delivered several courses on the topic of cybersecurity. One example can be found below. It is a 4 hour course on Infrastructure Security published by Cybrary. The course is rated 5 stars amongst over 800 students that have taken it.
